2:00 PM – Reception in Giethoorn
Reception with coffee & tea, various tea varieties, fresh mint and honey, lemonade for the kids. Platter full of arretjescake that you can enjoy
2:30 PM – Setting sail with an Escape Ship
Hold on tight, because this will be an amazing experience! You are about to embark on an exciting adventure on a Gieterse whispering punter, while taking the real Reedcutters Escape box with you. Together with a group of six to eight brave explorers, you will try to solve the mystery of the legendary reed cutter DirkJan. Can you crack the code and solve this mind-boggling riddle while enjoying the beautiful view along the way? Only time will tell!
The story of reed cutter DirkJan begins as follows:
In the picturesque village of Giethoorn, where the reeds are high and the air is filled with the chirping of birds, Dirk-Jan works as a reed cutter who has dedicated his entire life to harvesting reeds. One day, amidst the reeds, he discovers a mysterious chest, covered with dust and dirt. Despite his years of efforts, he can't open the chest and discover its contents. The mystery of the chest remains unsolved, and Dirk-Jan is determined to uncover the truth.
And this is where you come into play. You must help DirkJan open the chest and reveal the secret. By answering questions, solving puzzles, and completing tasks, you will find clues necessary to open the chest.
But be warned, it won't be easy. The tasks will become increasingly challenging and the clues harder to find. So, are you ready to unravel the mystery of the chest? Brace yourself and let the adventure begin!
5:00 PM – Award Ceremony
The winners will be celebrated and photographed by you, while toasting with Fanfarebitter.
then everyone will be offered a nice glass of our Home made ice tea or our own Geytbier.
5:30 PM – Tuba barbecue
A Tuba barbecue is ready for you to grill, Hamburger made of 100% Vechtdal beef, vegetable skewer of zucchini, red onion and bell pepper, chicken satay sticks, marinated Roastpork, American spare ribs salads & sauces, homemade fries, farmer's bread with a dip
